Strategic Dimensions is a UK-based recruitment consultancy specialising in HR, general management, technology and sales and marketing.
Most of its consultants have worked at board level across a wide range of sectors, and have held senior HR positions with big names such as KPMG, AXA Insurance and Sainsbury’s.
Despite the line up of potential contributors, the website offers only mediocre information. Some of the general insider tips and suggestions include how to decide between advertising a job and choosing a targeted search or head hunter.
The firm specialises in executive sourcing and offers a complete assessment service, including structured interviewing, psychometric testing and tailor-made assessment centres, but the site gives little away.
There are details of the Corporate Research Forum (a membership organisation) and a resource section with some fairly well-researched, but rather old written articles. Current vacancy lists and a personal development section complete the picture.
There are also some new source suggestions in the website listings and recommended reading lists. However, there is not a lot that’s new on this site so a cursory look will be all you need.
