elearningpost

www.elearningpost.com

elearningpost is a daily digest of links to articles and news stories about corporate learning, community building, instructional design and knowledge management. The site also includes a number of feature articles and related special reports on similar topics.

elearningpost is refreshing in this sense because there are no marketing pitches, pop-up ads or other distractions – just a desire to share solid, useful information. It includes a list of current features, archives, search feature and the option of an e-mailable newsletter. Drawing from a wide source of contributors and links, topics include ‘zero cost e-learning’, ‘is digital learning effective in the workplace?’‘training hundreds of users in many different sites’ and ‘meeting the new CLO (chief learning officer)’.

The archives contain reams of stories, going back to elearningpost’s beginnings in September 2000. Given this, the site’s search engine is a vital addition for finding what could essentially be a topic needle in an e-learning haystack. Navigating the site is brilliant in its simplicity, and the no bells and whistles approach to design keeps the focus on the wealth of content. If you are interested in the latest e-learning issues, elearningpost is well worth a look.
