Workshops by Thiagi
www.thiagi.com
From the simplicity of the Smith brace to the syllable-enhanced Sivasailam Thiagarajan (Thiagi). Similar to his book, Thiagi’s website is a cracker.
The very first item on the top-left hand corner of the screen, the now almost standard place for navigation buttons, is a link to Navigation Tips. This is typical of the site’s logic and ease of browsing.
Clearly explaining his logic, Thiagi also allows that his logic might not be your logic, hence the explanation. A quick read of this section, however, will stand you in good stead to harness the rest of the site’s utility.
Faithfully updated every week, including a run down on the updates themselves, the site provides free training games, instructional activities, puzzles, online learning activities, web-based games, and creative training techniques.
Thiagi also adds a new issue of the free newsletter, Play for Performance every month. Browsers are able to subscribe to this newsletter, or simply pick it up when they visit the site.
This site also contains free articles and handouts with tips for rapid instructional design, improving human performance, and facilitating teams. Definitely well worth a visit.
